Tool Room Machinist

Work Site of Job: Rock County North

Public Transportation: Yes, access to Janesville City Bus System available depending on work schedule.

Pay: Based on experience

Monthly bonus plan of 100.00 for perfect attendance

Duration/Usual Hours Per Week: Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week Minimum

Shift/Work Days: Second and Third Shift. First Shift training required.

Second Shift: 2:00pm to 10:30pm (or)

Third Shift: 10:00pm to 6:30am, Monday through Friday.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma/ GED Equivalent Required

Professional Licenses/Certifications:No Licences or Certifications Requested.

Vehicle: No Vehicle Requested

Drivers License: No Drivers License Requested

Endorsements: No Endorsements Requested

Age: 18 or older Required

Experience/Qualifications:

Qualified canidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a tool room setting.

-Must be able to operate a manual lathe, manual mill, and surface grinder

-Must be able to use all types of precision measuring equipment to hold tolerances of .0002

-Must have good hand/eye coordination for precision polishing

-Familiarity with Mazak lathes using Mazatrol programming a plus

-Familiarity with Fadal VMC's and Gibb's software a plus

-Must be able to pass physical and drug screening

Pre-employment drug screening required.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

Will be required to learn and use all equipment necessary to make required tooling from provided prints

Make new tooling from provided prints

Work as a support team member to keep production floor operating

modify/sharpen used tooling based on prints and sketches
